NAS or local volume
How to store your backups locally, on a block storage, or on a NAS using SimpleBackups.
You can choose to store your backup on your own server, an external mounted volume, block storage, or a Network-attached storage (NAS).
To do so, you need to:
- Ensure that your storage is mounted or attached to your server
- Note down the absolute path to your storage (ideally, create a specific directory for SimpleBackups)
- Create a backup, then select the Local storage option as shown below
- Enter the absolute path of your storage
