No. Snapshots are proprietary backups/images of your server, and they are bound to your hosting provider and can't be downloaded or restored on another provider.

We orchestrate the Snapshot creation, rotation, and everything you need to make them part of your backup strategy. But when it comes to storing them it's your provider who's in charge.

For an ideal backup strategy, don't forget to combine them with website & database backups which can be downloaded or stored wherever you want!

Since snapshots are proprietary backups/images of your server, and they are bound to your hosting provider, they cannot be stored off-site or outside of your cloud provider.

You should use file backups instead to store off-site copies of your data on any of the cloud storage providers we support.
